Terms of Service – UniRent
This is a translation of the Italian terms; in case of discrepancy the Italian version prevails.
1. The service
UniRent is an application (web, iOS and Android) that helps landlords manage properties rented as a whole or by the room: tenants, contracts, payments, receipts, bills and fault reports. Tenants can view the data the landlord shares with them and report faults.
2. Account
Using the app requires a personal account, of type Owner or Tenant, chosen at sign-up. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activities carried out with your account.
3. Data entered
The landlord is responsible for the data entered about tenants (personal details, contracts, payments, documents) and for having collected it in compliance with data protection law. The app’s calculations (instalments, due dates, bill splitting, reports) are a support tool and do not replace the lease agreement, which remains the only reference between the parties.
4. Permitted use
It is forbidden to use the service for unlawful purposes, to upload content that infringes third-party rights or to attempt to access other users’ data.
5. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it always available and the data stored securely, but we cannot guarantee it will be free from interruptions. Push notifications may not be delivered (network, phone settings).
6. Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account and data. Properties of which you are the only owner are deleted together with all related data.
7. Changes and contacts
These terms may be updated; relevant changes will be announced in the app. For questions: support@unirent.app.
